I flew a Qantas 747 from Sydney to New Zealand in 2005.

I must of seen you then, because when I was a pilot in that year, I had to travel New Zealand in 2005 and it must of been the same day harii

You can start flying light aircraft from 10 with an instructor but your hours will not count towards your PPL until your 12.

You can do solo at 16 and you can get your PPL at 17.

And yeah i know about the 16 and 17 ages, but i was told it's 15 to start training. Would you actually understand at 10. Be hard to take it seriously and take everything in.

Thats the reason the hours don't count until your 12.

You don't get to go solo without taking exams anyway, so it's not really any worry :p

I don't think 10 year olds get control of the plane anyway, but i'm not sure.. They might!

Imagine being 10 and your instructor having a heart attack or something on your first flight.. Ouch!
