6 pages, and still nobody explaind accuratly the "bit Near thing", there is no bit...

There is two differents type of people "Death note user", and "Victim", with the shinigami eyes, a death note user can see any victims names, but not death note user names.
Mikami own a death note, the one of Misa initialy, with Ruyk as the death god (initialy Rem).
Mikami can see Near name, because he doesnt own a death note...He "have it", but doesnt own it, he is a deep **** stealer.
Near have in his bag, Mikami's note, yeah, but Mikami is still the owner.
Mikami loose the ownership only if he get killed, or another person own that note for couples hundreds of days. (or he revoke it, but here the note goes back to the death god)
Even if Near did write in the note, he could kill people, but he wouldn't be the death note user. So he would remain a victim...

Btw since I went in all the trouble scubring the forum, I read a funny thing too, the guys that say they like Death note, but their favorite character is L, and they hate Kira, so they are glad he died (on another forum not here)...its quite fun to here that, cause that means the guy even didnt understand that Kira wasnt a bad guy at all, and that he was the main character, just by seeing most of the generic its eazy to capture his motives in all his killing...

That deep **** Near by framing/killing Kira, just also permitted future criminals to live, and in that way killed for example children abused by rapists, and many others innocent.
I hate the last episode too for many others reasons, like the way Near his defending his position saying "well uh you are a criminal, serial killer, thats all, i have nothing to had", meaning "uh well, I arrest you, and the crime will probably up again, but I dont care if innocents are killed"
In the manga we can clealry see that Near, this *******, passed 6 full months on a ********case, and probably didnt saved a single life, while he is responsible for many death of innocent, due to the re-start of criminaly.
While it would have taken Kira and Mikami 5seconds, to write that gang names. Or just there would be no gang, since there would still be in the era of fear.

Kira should have not died, or at least in a much different way.
And as someone suggested, the smart kira, would have written the names before going in, like suggested by Near, Near alone, he can take him without the deathnote even lol, no need to get the name lol

Finally I think there is a future possibility of sequel, dont forget that Misa, has her lifespan shorted by 4, BUT she has Rem + another death god lifespan (here a gain on that forum he guy was saying "hey damn why she isnt dead 6 years later, she would have 25 ? so she sould be dead"), so we can clearly guess, she can live for couples hundreds, maybe thousands of years depending of the lifespans of Rem and the other death god. That's why the way I see the last pictures of the manga, is "one candle, one year, Kira sama, the first one of a long serie", We imagine that she will lead that secret society for a long time lol, but I don't see the point of that...Still Kira is dead.
L should have not died either, and Near is useless, initialy I thought they would both kill each other, writing each other name on a note, at the same time lol
And here too I hate the way L died, It would have been a bit more intersting, if L for a moment reconised that what was doing Kira, was not necessarly a bad thing. Or at least, I would have prefered see Kira explaining the same thing he did to Near, but for L, in a less arogant way thoo

    Well duh. She commits suicide.

I think 75% of the forum would have a fit if we got an anime/manga section. Although that is a good idea. This doesn't belong in the TV section, all we get on TV is like 6 dubbed animes on Anime Central.

Woah... Death Note has caused a lot of trouble.

The Belgian newspaper Het Belang van Limburg reported on November 24 that the police have no concrete leads in the two-month-old case of body parts found near notes linked to the Death Note manga. On September 28, two hikers found a human torso and two thighs in Duden Park in the city of Saint-Gilles. Police later determined the shaven parts came from a Caucasian male individual. No identification or personal effects were found on the body parts, but two pieces of paper were found nearby with the same message in Roman capital letters: "WATASHI WA KIRA DESS." This is an apparent misspelling of the Japanese phrase "Watashi wa Kira desu," or "I am Kira", that is used in Tsugumi Ooba and Takeshi Obata's Death Note suspense manga series.

Some schools in Shenyang, People's Republic of China have banned the manga after some of their students started to tease friends and teachers by altering a notebook to resemble a Death Note and writing their names in them.
The newspaper Shenyang Night Report called Death Note "poison, creating wicked hearts". One major Chinese newspaper felt that the ban is an overreaction and is inappropriate.

A senior at the Franklin Military Academy in Richmond, Virginia was suspended after being caught possessing a replica Death Note notebook with the names of fellow students.

Quite scary what some people do after reading a manga or watching an anime.
