PRINCIPALITY? WTH. I've never heard of that word, ever. I think Wales deserve as much rights as Scotland do with the involvement of England. Wales are seriously left out in the UK, and just overshadowed and controlled by everyone else. It's a shame really, but that's the way I see it.

They do have the same rights in terms of involvement with England, in that if elected into Westminster they can vote on English issues. That's what I think is unfair. Wales are left out and overshadowed, I agree. But they don't have a big nationalist movement like Scotland do, which is why they only got dealt an Assembly with secondary legislative functions, instead of the Parliament that Scotland got.

    EDIT:

    And @ Abbie.

Stop nit-picking. We were talking about ROI flag and you said you lived there, simple as. Stop trying to back track and admit you're wrong

Mmm... Wales with their own parliament would definitelty be something to look at. I don't think we have a UK parliament do we? I'm not sure... I mean like, a summit where all UK countries meet and talk about issues in the UK which are nationwide. I'm sure they don't have that, but I might be wrong. I think it's wrong that they've got involvement with England, but they probably have to follow English law anyway?

Yeah, Westminster is a UK Parliament, it deals with issues for the whole of the UK. But I know what you mean about their involvement being wrong.

See, I look at Westminister as the English parliament, since I never hear about Scottish, Welsh & Irish parliament coming together to make decisions. Probably because English politicians bully the lot really. I don't like how my country is ran, never have. House of commons is where Regional Members of Parliament gather, but I think House of Lords is higher up? Like where all the big parties gather? I'm not too sure.

They don't come together. They are devolved institutions which mean they have been given power by Westminster (UK Parliament, not just England) that can technically be taken away. English politicians? Gordon Brown stands in Scotland...
