Why does everyone hate MCR?

Because they changed I suppose.. but for the people that didn't like them in the first place, I don't know.

But I think loads of their fans went off them too (like me ;D) because they just went all commercial and crap like everyone else!

Black Parade was MCR's best album by far. I like 'em.

I love Famous Last Words, its the people 25+ who hate MCR because they think Emos are going to destory the world because they slit etc.

I have and thought they were terrible before. They far better suit the more "pop" sounding stuff in my opinion

I like a handful of their songs, people just hate them to follow the crowd. Same with PATD, some of their songs are quite good aswell. Shame people just think it's cool to hate bands.

I like PATD, they didn't change to suit how famous they were. MCR started out as rock but then changed to pop so they could go mainstream. PATD started out pop/rock and stayed that way.

Does it matter if a band changes, or for what reasons they change? You can dislike the people in the band all you like but the music they've since "selling out" is still good

yep same, i just loved the old stuff so much and the new stuff was disappointing.

when a band sells out, they usually do bad at the same time.
