Last night proved Britain wasn't falling for sob stories when Madonna was eliminated, I don't like acts with sob stories because it stops being a talent show and you feel obliged to like them because they have lived through hell, that's why I like Simon, he judges an act on performance which is what the shows about and as he rightly said "It's not Britain's saddest story it's Britain's Got Talent."
Amanda said that Andy (The plumber) murdered that song, but i just listened to John Lennon's version and a version by some bloke from American Idol and Andy was better than both of them. I'm not rooting for Andy to win i just want to make my point.
And just a last note, last years winner Paul Potts is in America now. what was the point of finding Britain's talent and then shipping them off to another country? He's obviously there because it makes Simon more money than him performing over here but i thought Britain's Got Talent wasn't going to be like other shows (Like X-Factor and Big brother) I thought the winner would be big, not someone who's in the papers for a few weeks, hosts a TV show which fails and then are never seen again but I guess I was wrong lol, I haven't heard anything about Paul Potts in about 9 months.
Anyway George, Strike, Escala or Signature to win.
Oh, I don't disagree with it being entertaining, it's just more of the same. I made the same point with Paul Potts last year - once you've heard one opera singer, you've heard them all. Same with Escala.

They did the same with Leona Lewis after the X-factor, Simon gave her a better recording deal to do it in America to try make her big there :S there awas no point doing the show at all really.Last night proved Britain wasn't falling for sob stories when Madonna was eliminated, I don't like acts with sob stories because it stops being a talent show and you feel obliged to like them because they have lived through hell, that's why I like Simon, he judges an act on performance which is what the shows about and as he rightly said "It's not Britain's saddest story it's Britain's Got Talent."

Yup, either Signature or George Sampson.

Same here, want Signature to win, but Escala are pretty good.
Voted 4 times for Signature![]()
