DVD is more important that cinematic release as the amount of money made is tenfold in comparison, but they will not churn it out 2 months after theatrical release because it will still be showing in cinemas at Christmas. Films do not need holidays to succeed apart from Christmas, so it does not matter to Disney when it is released, give it February/March.
I meant worldwide because High School Musical has fans in every country in their millions even in the middle east.

As for the DVD, you may have a point but because it is aimed at children... they usually put it out at a time kids get a lot spent on them.

I liked the second one better then the first one, the third one is milking it for all its worth. Good one on Disney's behalf espically since there adding a new cast to High School Musical 4, which mean's they can start all over again.
An now they've even made a new movie, Camp Rock which will obviously have about 100 sequel's to it and be milked. They like to keep it coming Disney do, I'm suprised Nickelodeon hasn't made a comeback yet, and made a movie JUST like this.
I'm pretty sure Nickelodeon helped with Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging.
Their logo is in the first trailer atleast, which I saw about... 2/3 months ago!

I actually like HSM, but that might have something to do with me being a big kid and loving Disney stuff and also me being a big musical geek.
Now or Never sounds like an alright song, very different from the first 2 movies at least!

Yes it is going into cinema.

HSM 1&2 was not put in cinema's so you could watch it for free, and then the last one where everything comes to a end they put it in cinema so you have to pay, and by then you want to watch it.

Not put in cinemas because it was designed to specifically be a TV movie.
