I also look forward to the new changes. However, I fear that it's going to be a Help Desk in a v9 sized room, with the limit being 50 rather than the current 25. I have no idea why I think this, just pure instinct so it's probably wrong and I hope it is, lol. I know what you mean when you say you want staff to enjoy themselves and not be pressurised to go in there in a very Hecktixisque way .

However, things are way too lenient. I could be really specific and name individuals who aren't in there enough but I'm not that harsh. Some of them don't log for days at a time so the evidence is there. I think what it needs is 5-10 people who are actually "Habbo specialists". For example if they have played for a long time, have deep Habbo knowledge and are online daily.

Some of the staff are bordering on useless, I won't mention any names but one of them asked a few questions they were stuck with and it was pretty basic habbo knowledge that they should know if they work in a help desk. "How much is a month of HC?" and the likes.

I visited HxHD yesterday for the first time in a few months. Much to my surprise it was quite similar to the days of when DJ-3000 ran it. A floor covered in petals, the standard majestics and throne sofas, which although I don't object to, it just seemed as time had stood still for the past 3 or more years. There was no one behind the desk and although there were one or two people sitting there, no one bothered even saying hi to me, so I assumed they were either brb or afk.

For me the room didn't seem inviting, it needs to be brightened up, let some light in lol, go take a peep at a room owned by Carnio that's in the help desk category, it's what I call a lot more inviting. It's not perfect but it's a lot better.

I understand the arguements for and against v9 rooms, and if the current help desk doesn't get many visitors, then it's best to keep the pre v9 room and simply make it appear less of a counter service and more of a lounge with a smaller personal help area. Make good use of the additional space that would become available and this may not seem important, but it is, on another occasion I visited HxHD and there were a good 10 or so there, and surprisingly no one spoke to me (I used a clone). Sometimes people visit a help desk to ask a simple question, and find it hard to interrupt several people busy talking across a bar, so teach staff a very simple skill, to say hello, how you doing and ask if they need any help

If the intention is to create a v9 room, I would recommend keeping the current room, as a way of an entrance to the Habbox Lounge, a room that could be used for events, or purely for just chilling, it could also have a quiet area for taking someone through to, who may need a one to one chat.

I think if the room goes any bigger then you may aswell change the name to the Habbox party room, thats how its going to end up.

I doubt that is actually their idea to make it a v9 sized room just it's just what I think they might do.

If they did make it a v9 room that would just help HxHD fail.

I think that it'll always fail if people don't have fun while they are doing it. When I was manager I always loved holding events and stuff at HxHD and a lot of people will not remember but I always held events some times giving up to 300 credits away.. most of the time I walked around pretending to be 'Pirate Dan' sometimes changing to 'MIB Dan' or 'Park Ranger Dan' and tried to get the staff involved in silly role plays such as the 'Power rangers' all of this time HxHD sure wasn't as successful as it once was but people who came to HxHD most of the time got involved and most importantly the staff appeared to be having fun which drew people in. I've been sat in HxHD this evening for quite a while there are ten people in the room (2 staff members) all dead silent except for one guy who said 'Hi' gave up and left.. lol

but she was on the ban list for ages, she used to get kicked almost constantly and now shes staff (coming from me this is lols but you get my point)
