No because a new house would be cleaner than a old one

We were the first to build on our block, so umm... 16/17 years old?

My family owns a house from the 17th century in Switzerland though !

Not if you're clean people. I don't tend to shove things down the floorboards. Dust and stuff won't make a difference as when you hoover it'll go and the bits that are in the cracks will either be sucked up or so small it won't make a difference, like a new house.

hehe nice. Do you have wooden beams in virtually every room? And how about fireplaces in most rooms including upstairs :S? It's quite interesting to compare my house with another old house. Also our house is tilting more and more every few years.
