The subscription is for 1 years free technet plus, they changed it to run out in september because people got the link to get it free, some people have got their subscriptions back (look on the overclock thread) and people have called microsoft and they said that all accounts will be up again in 2-3 business days, so tbh I'm going to believe microsoft for a few days, so either they are telling the truth or they have lied to people which I think is totally unacceptable, even if we weren't supposed to get the subscription.

Read the end of my post, I know that. I'm just saying that lots of people have called microsoft and they have said to them that their account will be back again in 2-3 days so meh, either microsoft lied or the people lied so I'm going to email them and ask. Not saying that that site is wrong, microsoft probably decided that, but if people did get told saying their account will be back then I think its wrong for them to lie, if they didn't know what they was going to do about it, then they should of said so Originally Posted by Jamesy

There's something funny going on, that is true. Some accounts are being reactivated - perhaps due to consumer laws in the UK etc etc.
