Yeah we do know how serious it is, and we are trying our best to solve it. Unfortunately we can't magic ourselves the correct powers to do so, and it's unfortunate it has happened alongside a series of complications and people being away. As we have previously stated we are taking this seriously, we aren't sitting back and doing nothing and we are doing all we can.

Edit: Just an edit to say I believe nvrspk4 will be suspending UploadPicz himself as soon as possible.

As ive already suggested, a simple flagging system can stop this as by the looks of it, members go through the gallery. Reporting any innapropriate pictures and having them deleted if breaking terms, will resolve the problem.

Hello hello,

Ok an explanation is in order. Sorry for taking so long, my explanation got delete the first time by way of back button. WOOT! So here we go. First of all, yes I did see this thread the day it was made, and I made a conscious decision not to reply to it.

After the incident with the iStealer many many Habbox passwords were change to ensure that everything was locked down, and since we had changed so much, we started early on one of our Habboxwide password changes for security purposes. Due to a slight miscommunication, I did not recieve the new UP cpanel PW or the PW that would let me CHANGE the UP Cpanel PW. Don't worry, I checked, EVERYTHING else works. JUST those two didn't work.

Jin was the only other person with those passwords, and he went away from a week, beginning Monday. Oops. We finally got through to him today and got the information through a text message at which point we began deleting the offensive images. However I had submitted a request for the suspension of UploadPicz only (which I have now rescinded) which seemed to be our only course of action given the circumstances.

Also, I do have administrative access on UploadPicz, however when the new system came out all account privileges reset and we didn't realize that. I have now given myself administrator privileges and several members of management have moderative privileges. We do have a system in place where you can report images (I just went through every abuse report and deleted three other pictures - by the way you pervs out there it wasn't only naked guys ) and a system where those are checked. Usually Jin does the checking but in the next week we will check the abuse reports.

Please note, for anything that requires an explanation, its best to email [email protected], we will be adding information about that to the site shortly however I think the email is provided on the site already.

As for why I didn't say anything, I figured it was better not to admit that we couldn't take them down at present because if we did we would have had all sorts of immature kids going crazy and feeling powerful uploading inappropriate images because they could get away with it. So I pretended not to see this, sorry about that.

Feel free to start a new thread about problems that need to be addressed, things that can be done better etc. I am aware we messed up on this one, sorry, and steps have been made to rectify the situation. The reason I closed this thread was to alleviate confusion, I didn't want people reading only the first page or so and conversation getting derailed by people who thought that the images were still up. You can create a new thread if you wish to further discuss this but in the new thread people will know that it has been dealt with.
