I honestly don't really know, but I think all of my mates are probably middle class so it kinda shows the difference even in a single class, where we have money while others nearly struggle to get by.
Same, mine would insist they were yet they're now really snobby about some things and I like to remind them they weren't always like that, to wind them up. Like they only buy organic and free range food, whereas they used to shop around for the bargains!

Working, my parents got near to none qualifications and their jobs aren't exactly top notch, although I'm doing my best to change all that. I beat both of my parents qualifications put together when I was 14, just shows how bad they did

I think upper class is roughly above 70k income per annum. I think lower class is below 20/25k per annum.

I would say to be Upper Class generally means that you have to be born into it such as 'titled' parents etc.

Market Researchers use the following classification which has little to do with money. You could be Upper Class and broke.

    social grade social status occupation
A upper middle class higher managerial, administrative or professional
B middle class intermediate managerial, administrative or professional
C1 lower middle class supervisory or clerical, junior managerial, administrative or professional
C2 skilled working class skilled manual workers
D working class semi and unskilled manual workers
E those at lowest level of subsistence state pensioners or widows (no other earner), casual or lowest grade workers
