How does this not improve the forum? It does. Everybody says (including me) that the skins look terrible, these will help make it look better.

MissAlice's recent suggestion: Improve the welcome new members receive.
This would have a long-term effect on the forum as members who feel welcome will be more inclined to stay on the forum.

This idea: Change the Habbo Name profile field to world flag icons.
In some people's opinion it might look better.

Sure it does, but other lesser known people (no offense to skizzling and a few others) suggested that we change the mobile skin, which would 1) benefit current users of that skin; and 2) by satisfying current users it has the potential to also retain these members, which habbox does rely on.

Three or more threads have been made about the skin one and nothing has been done, one person makes a thread about welcoming someone and everybody jumps on it like a poor man on money.

OK I'll try to explain this again. The welcome thread issue relates to improving the community in the long-term. Changes to the skins are merely to please the few people who won't stop whining about them. Personally I think the current skins are perfectly fine as they are however anything to improve the treatment of new members is pretty much a priority.

You must have missed my point. These threads have been asked for for about 1 year (at least) and almost nothing has been done. This problem has been around longer then new members leaving.
One person (missalice) makes a thread and BAM! its done instantly, other people suggest something and then its like "hmm, well, ummm... we COULD do something... hmm".

I dunno, I haven't viewed it on a mobile (I was referring to the normal skins). Cba repeating myself, just re-read what I said about the differences between the actual suggestions until you understand.

ANYWAY, I don't think changing 'Habbo Name' to [flag pics] is extremely necessary but whatever floats your boat .

Yeah he's posted it in the Site Project Manager so infrequent and Jin should see it soon. Oh and Sammeth.

Although we may have to wait until vb4 to get it done - depends what the green names say.
