Honestly the levels seem to go a lot faster once you have a decent success rate.

hehehehehehehehehe
I think I burnt myself out on RS =[
After wasting so much time on 99 mage, I realized I was nothing more than a WoW frost mage - that didn't take me 200 hours to get. RS is nothing but repetition =/ How do you people stay interested? How can ANYONE max all skills? Is Runescape ever fun?
I'm starting to think the answer is 'no'. Took my barraging to CW, managed a kill cape, but realized it's nothing but a multi target frostbolt I learned at level 1 in WoW. Actually, I remember a better experience in a 2000 game then I have with this one; Baldur's Gate II offered ten times the spells (or at least spell effects) that I've ever gotten from here. Just wondering; what's the appeal of repeated grinding? Being able to do a godwars dungeon and have a small chance at a few mil? Or wasting your life away leveling slayer for a few mil an hour at abbys? Is there really nothing FUN about runescape, other then the grind?
It's just not fun to me; nothing about it is. You reach your goal, and suddenly you're at the point where you need to find something else to grind for an untold amount of hours. If that's all the 'game' is, why do we spend so much time playing? Usually grinding is the boring part of an rpg, but as far as this game goes, that seems to be all there is - no skill whatsoever seems to be required (other than pking 'skill,' which is wow pvp minus talent + a few more mil to help you grind more, if you're lucky)
Worst of all, I see people paying a thousand dollars or more for a runescape item... Really? A party hat with no stats on an account you don't even own is worth that much? Geez, people really will blow money on anything.
