Do you think habbo will ever shut down?

Just to think about it Habbo will probably not close down and just sell it of to another company at a high price so they don't loose out.

But eventually is will inevitably close down..

Like we said, all things must come to an end. Even if that end is at the end of the universe LOL it will end at some point.

We are just all trying to get our crystal balls out and guess how, why and when.

I guess it will inevitably close but do you think someone will reopen the site on a later date if ti closed due to sulake closing it down. It may even close next year "2012".

Habbo is getting popular year by year.. there are like 6 million monthly users just from fb right? So don't think it will happen in this decade at least.

Exactly.

If they charge more, people will just leave because they don't want to pay more than before. They would probably charge more to gain more revenue as the reason why it was sold to them will probably be because it was struggling anyways. But by charging more it would just hammer the nails in the coffin further.

They could however charge less, to try and get more people buying credits, this would be great at first. But then this has problems of it's own, it would have serious effect on the actual Economy in Habbo (it does actually have one!) and would widen the gap evenmore between rich and poor, people start to leave and everything collapses.

I think if it was sold to another company they would probably charge less for a while to get users to come back to habbo that have left and get they community going they gradually increase the prices so they can earn back the money they payed for habbo much faster.

Lool people say the worlds going to end in "2012" so if it does they will be no habbo unless they whip most of us and it ends up being like terminator. With robots etc which I guess is highly unlikely.

I doubt it will be sold to another company to be honest, I mean Habbo is messing up at the moment, therefore causing problems. I think more people are gunna stop playing with all these diffrent updates, however going to a diffrent company may mess it up alot?

A different company could introduce better features in to habbo though I suppose.
