www.scope.org.uk I work there, ma boss would love me

but anywayyyy.... I agree with not using the ones that everyone donates to, but still has to be big enough to make an impact and be legit...

Redcross, Care, Doctors Without Borders, World Mission, Divine Word Missionaries, things like that for the fact that they work in war and conflict-ridden areas... they use like, mainly volunteers so don't spend much and they're going places lots of people won't go...

No, I'm not taking the piss. They bring terminally ill children with a short lift expectancy to places like Disney Land, Universal Studios etc. before they pass.

I would like to put the Marie Curie forward as It is quite personal to me. My mums friend suffered from a human type of mad cow disease. This resulted in her forgetting most of her past, tiredness, and being very grouchy. She died within 2 weeks of being said to have the disease. Marie Curie helped to try and make her better, but with no success. The hospice still do not know how she came to have this illness.

When Marie Curie comes to mind, most people think - CANCER. but Marie Curie does help others, most people who need care that are terminally ill.

You can find out more about the Marie Curio projects at http://www.mariecurie.org.uk/ to help all others who need care.

I love Bethie's idea of mind, seems like a very good charity that could make a massive difference to young lives

Didn't even realise the Make a Wish bit was there - but since that was void, it therefore warrants his post pointless.
