iPhone 4 prices were something like that if you were buying directly from Apple.

Yeah, I've always upgraded every two gens.

I've only had the iPhone 4 since christmas. Can wait, the thing whats really attracting to the iPhone 4S is Siri.

    Voice recognition is SO overrated

Seriously, you will barely use it imo, you will hardly stand in the middle of the street giving your phone voice commands. Will it work with background noice?

Android has had a form of voice commands for yonks (and to some extent the iPhone too? Not sure) seriously it's a gimmick unless you have some sort of physical disability.

So nothing significant coming from Apple in the tech world then? This event is hardly worth the hype. Also, I think S used to mean speed. When the 3GS was released the UK ads used to end with "The 'S' stands for 'speed'".

Pretty sure Microsoft, Google and the likes all repeat what they say at presentations etc. Nothing significant? Speak for yourself not Apple because they're going to make a killing selling this thing

Of course it will sell, but it's not anything special in the tech world, releasing out of date tech If it had something amazing and unique it would be significant, but this is only of interest to people who want to see a fruit logo on a piece tech
