Yaaaaah, those are great reasons to slit your wrists. You guys haven't even hit 18, how can your life be roooooooobish? I was beat on and thrown down stairs and pulled back up by hair most of my childhood until I was kicked out of my house at 16. I was homeless for a year and a half but you didn't see me slitting. Bad things happen, life goes on. And seriously, the only reason to slit your wrists is for attention cause do you know how hard it is to actually kill yourself doing it? So find a better means of getting attention if you think that's your last resort.

Please for the sake of humanity or me at least, get out of this stupid fad. Realize that the music is **** and that you don't have to wear the same mandatory "suit" that everyone around you is wearing. Seriously, just be yourself.

And as for the eyeliner... eh, it didn't look that great on me. But dresses do.

Firstly, emo means emotional. Bands like SIMPLE PLAN and GOOD CHARLOTTE, who cry about how cr'ap their lives have been does not make them emo.
can't remember pass to other accounts =/

Your right, but it does mean emotive hardcore, but i'm still thinking it means emotional too, because honestly.. it is all those bands whining about how their life s*cks IM NOOOTTTT OOOKAYYY.. yeh wahetevr p*ss off.

As for wrist slitters, well alot of people think that slitting your wrists gives you an instant backstage pass as the emo/goth subcultures, they are posers (though i do agree there are some real self haters our there that need the help).

Emo has been around for a while, however its only in recent years it has become slightly mainstream. You will find alot of emo's are emo's because they think they are different and not maintstream, ok, very well, they are right. They arent mainstream, but they are following a trend.. they dont really have any grounds to stand on when they shout out there individual 24/7. Alot of goths are like this too (im not gonna downrate my own subculture though), but thats because there is no universal definition of Goth, due to there being more poser Goths than there is real ones, same applying to Emo.

But since this is in a music subforum, im going to say your subculture (if you have one) is totally down to the music you listen to.

No it doesn it means emotive Hardcore, if you think Simple plan and Good Charlotte are emo, your so wrong buddy. Neither is Gwen Stefani, Or anybody, there are no real EMO bands anymore, and if EMO we're emotional, just because They complain wont make them emotional, it makes them the same as everyone else in this world, someone who thinks complaining is so cool and will make people cry, just to give them good ratings. -.-

Um, well, emo's are calling thereself emo just because how they dress and what they listen to, if your an Emo person then you wouldnt be dressing like some idiot, or listening to these random bands, and yes, most people are posers, there are no TRUE emo people in this world that i know of, and if people start thinking that Simple plan and like Gwen Stefani are emo, that could ruin everything. Not to mention give emo a bad look, Gwen Stefani is Pop. So is Simple Plan and Good Charlotte.
