i watched it for the first time tonight and i think it's brilliant, i love how they're actually judging them on their voice and not their appearance. i will probably be watching the rest of the episodes from this point onwards, it's definitely better than x-factor.

Can't wait for the last of the blind auditions and to see the final line ups. I hope the stage after the blind auditions are just as good because I have a feeling it will just be like pop idol (not x factor cos they dance on there tbh).

I hate how they put two great people together and two not so good people together. I'd rather see both the good ones in the one good one not so good.. :S

I've not been watching this one tbh, but I heard the singing is of a better standard than x factor. Is that true?

I dunno - I think it falls into the same issue as X Factor. It say's it's about the voice but really its about finding someone they can market.

I feel that now the battles are here and they know what the people look like they are judging it on more than just the voice e.g. age, looks etc. Will.I.AM seemed to pick someone just because they where young - it means he can probably mould her more.

I also preferred Vince (bare footed one) to the female singer. His voice is really powerful and he was told to not use the full of his power, yet this is a battle round so surely he should have.

i definitely agree with the bolded. they pick those (regardless of how good they are) on whether they can see the individual selling loads of records. as i've mentioned numerous times, there was that teenager who sang opera and was really good, yet they didn't pick her, essentially because she doesn't sing like the generic artists which will sell a lot of records. yeah, she wasn't absolutely amazing - but she was untrained and with guidance could of literally **** on all the other female contestants. now that automatically defeats the shows initial stance and throws it right into the same category as x-factor.

i prefer it to the x factor as i feel it has a little bit more class and idk there's no sob story or drama every 2 seconds like x factor.
