I wasn't laughing at Ivanovic, of course I feel sorry for him. I was laughing at Shreeves for ruining his dreams.
Players know what they can get booked for, so no sympathy for him.

Nah, only thing you'd rate Liverpool for is because they won a cup this season.

It was the Carling Cup though, so no.

Couple of my friends are Liverpool fans and GENUINELY think that winning the Carling Cup makes them a better team than Chelsea. They also think that "they play well" despite losing all the time and that Reina is the best keeper in the world. Then again, one of them is the same person who actually had a fit at me when I told him he'd play better crosses in if he looked up before he kicked it

Disagree, champions league football is constantly being ruined by non sportsman behaviour. The amount of cards at this level of football is ridiculous and ruins game after game. Thankfully John Terry got sent off for what he did but what kind of moron does such a thing in a Semi-Final and expects to get away with it? Frankly the discipline at top level football isn't anywhere near as harsh as it should be (The ridiculous Drogba diving is hardly "good" football either). That's not to say Geoff Shreeves should of broke it to him like that, that was very harsh and unnecessary but lack of discipline ruins so many games, a few bans are certainly deserved.
