    Use any proxy, simple.
Perfect example of why blocking anything on the internet is a lost cause.

Anybody who's blocked who wants to access the main site, use this link if you cba to find a proxy. That's a proxy, just a link to a setup to tpb.

just makes me wonder - are those who are pushing/pushed for this, aware how easy it is to get around these blocking methods? or that there'll always be plenty of alternatives? like, surely they can't be that clueless - as it's basically just a waste of time, effort and money on their (and our) part?

People know nothing about technology, this is why having a load of 40 - 60 year olds in government right now doesn't work too well.

Well it's been mentioned time and time again that we will always be one step ahead of them. This was mentioned back when that Digital Economy Act 2010 was getting pushed through.

Anyone know if its blocked with DNS or if its deeper?

Cba to change my DNS to check.

    EDIT; yay

While the above options will cut straight through any kind of blocking with zero problems, Pirate Bay are also advising people to change their DNS provider. By permanently switching to a DNS offered by the likes of OpenDNS and Google, users of UK ISPs that censor The Pirate Bay purely by DNS will have a free and effective work around.
    EDIT:

    Changing DNS Didn't work
