Alas, this is true - but what about the Habbos that did the same but were not aware of the glitch? Not everyone spends their time on Habbo forums. It'd be unfair for Ross to be banned, but it would be unfair for him to keep his new wealth.

Well, considering he has been boasting about it throughout this thread and habbo staff are very much aware of habbo forums, it would be silly to just ignore when somebody fully admits to abusing a bug.

I don't understand why this wasn't patched last week, I posted a screenshot in another thread of the gold bar glitch after deals were removed. It seems that a new version update has somehow omitted the bulk deal patch, what a mess!

You were aware of the glitch and manipulated it to get rich quick. That's considered bug abuse. Don't play innocent, just kiss goodbye to your pile of thrones.

No, you've not done the glitch, so you shouldn't be banned - but you have gained wealth from the glitch, which is unfair. And since its unfair, Habbo Staff could have a case against banning you, but because of the fact that many Habbos would have done what you did, and some of them not knowing it was because of a glitch, it'd be unfair to ban you for it.

Ahh, that makes sense, then it would have grown exponentially, explaining why so many credits were brought in with the glitch. It should be easy to find out who carried out the glitch then. Look at Habbos transactions and see who bought items in the catalogue for a large amount... It's 51c per gold bar and you could buy a max of 99? So just check to see who bought an item worth 5049 credits (and minus the credits for the actual deal) and ban them.

You know the bulk buy offers? Like 6 for the price of 5 etc? Well they were on exchange items.

So for example you could get 6 gold bars for the price of 5.

6gb = 300c for 5 gold bars = 255c = 45c profit.
Then REPEAT!

Same sort of offers with even more too so you could just increase the amount you gained each time.

Then you're screwed basically. There's no defence for you really, considering you bought bulk gold bars.
