New Userbars

I think its a nice idea in practice and it was really good of the graphics department to make them and to everyone involved and stuff. I think the main problem is just that the majority of this forum are older members who have been around for a good period of time, and so naturally get used to things like this and I guess its part of what makes Habbox unique. Habbox would be nothing without its community and I guess its just nice to involve everyone when it comes to userbars and stuff. I remember the last time they changed, people came up with various designs and stuff and it was discussed and it really was a positive thing and was great for everyone to get involved and get behind it.

I personally am not too keen on the current designs, but I guess some people might be. I liked the shape of the old ones and felt it made Habbox that bit more unique from other fansites who use the standard rectangle with in your face colours etc. Ours was a bit more sophisticated I guess. As I said, it was a good idea, and If you do keep them then I guess people will just have to get used to them- but this is quite a major change really and it just sprang out of nowhere to a lot of people.

In terms of mine, I have three stacked on top of each other and it looks like a flag or something, wheras before I felt posher Idk if that makes sense

yup that's what I meant but don't cut corners around the edges of the letters. it's still not great but looks a little better. MEH. CHANGE THEM BACK.

theres absolutely no reason to change them other than because 1 person wanted to from what I can see...

people liked the old ones, leave them the hell alone

I feel bad for whichever poor graphic staff member slaved away for at least 10 minutes creating these to get such a poor reception. They're nice userbars, just not suited to habbox. @Chris; your community has spoken.

I loved the old ones too, but I guess thats because I was around when they were being changed and stuff, and it just all felt so fresh. I don't really ever think they became stale or boring. I guess if change was wanted though then as I mentioned, it would have been nice to put it to the members, rather than throwing something at them

I'm pretty sure last time people were asked to help design them, because I remember having a go myself LOL
