I think I vaguely remember Jamesy making it too, was his Assistant Forum Manager when he was putting the plans into place and stuff, and I know he talked about it a lot. Anyhow if the coding looks fine then its probably just something to do with the sms thing/monthly deals thing like Jin said and its all sorted now so as long as its sorted for next year all is good in the hood

Just did a look and Jamesy was the one who created it first by the looks of it. Then we lost it for 2011, found the files and put it back and David could have changed some code then. No idea where the errors started coming in though - It was fine for the previous two years I believe?

The coding is fine, the numbers in the database seem problematic for some reason.

Jamesy made it and the code behind it seems fine to me.

A gfx artist designed it, however I made the actual ticker, as well as the sms system and some other admin tools.

Actually you are probably right on that. I remember asking him to do it via MSN and not on the forum like usual as I honestly thought he was the only person that was capable of it at the time. I think the only thing I asked Jamesy to do was to actually add it to the sidebar for the forum because he didn't normally edit the style of the sidebars when creating a new theme so I didn't want to add it myself incase my styling choices didn't fit in with his vision.

When I made my donation it was approaching the £300 mark, and I did check to see how quickly my donation appeared, and it was less than a minute, and seemed to be accurate. Chippiewell raises a good point. Perhaps the different currencies/exchange rate calculations are in some way responsible for the difference.

I think it’s very admirable for Habbox to come up with the shortfall.

Well done to Habbox for putting money towards to the total to round it up to £600. Also thanks to everyone who donated, very good cause and will hopefully help alot of people.

Unfortunately I was false, the amount recorded on the database for GBP alone (aka zero currency conversion errors) was more than Jin stated was raised overall.
