I think if there was a poll it'd be quite a close result. Personally, I don't see why it needs to be done. I think it can be kinda risky, only two years age someones picture was taken to another fansite and people were making fun of it and eventually I think the police may have been involved. This could easily happen again if there are loads of peoples pictures plastered all over the forum.

but if they have their pic in avatar chances are they will have posted it in papoy.. so are you saying papoy should be banned since people could take their pics from there????/

Carrying on Graham's point, if they're allowed a picture of themselves in their profile pic yet not their avatar, surely they could just get the picture from there instead - providing they're a member of the forum.

Noo I'm not saying PAPOY should be banned at all, I've posted a few times there myself but you have to be signed up to see PAPOY whereas if the picture was an avatar, anyone can come onto the forum and take pictures. At least if it's kept to PAPOY and any bullying happened like it has in the pass, forum admins have information on the person such as IP addresses.

to be fair i don't give a **** if some lil kids wanna take my pic n try and bully me. i think most of the members who would put themselves as their av would agree. not allowing it for bullying reasons is silly because 1) anyone that insecure wouldn't be putting themselves as their pic and 2) if anyone is reeeeeeeeeally so strange looking that they were gunna get bullied for it, then i'm sure it wouldn't inconvenience the bullies much by having to go to the picture thread

doesnt bother me wat some1 else has as their avi and i dont see the issue with them showing themselves in their avi. i dont see why it is any1 elses business :S
