There's a trick in the question. It says to work out the average.
Adding the scores up would be enough if everyone had the same number to divide by but because graham has one more score to consider, it changes the scoreboard. Using your figures, I worked out the average, put the numbers in lowest to highest seeing as it says on your graph that the lower the number the higher the score and this is the results (havent checked it with mine yet - the numbers are the average score btw)

that's mine and it matches yours when you add it up so you havent done it wrong. I'll explain the sums so you understand:

- You put them all together in order. Doesn't matter if it goes up 1 to 13 or down 13 to 1 as long as its the same for everyone. You've done that.
- You add the scores up for each person. You've done that.

But what you did here is you just assumed that the scores would be enough and ranked it like that. This is not the case because if you look at your graph, sex has an extra number that no-one else does. That's because his entry was invalid so everyone else got 1 less and he ended up with 1 more.

So everyone else's total is divided by 10 and graham's is divided by 11.

We ended up with the same order so it's right.
