Warren, actually this is a very common practice in the Islamic countries, treating woman as property is in the (Shakira) Sharia Law and in their version of the Bible.

Actually, doesn't matter on who you are and what you believe in. You'll commit a crime. Since it is in their law saying its ok to do such a thing (As woman are property to man), and is preached in their religion. It's not a crime to do this there, which is a crime against humanity itself.

Your 'proof' are Daily Mail news stories. You are literally saying: "Look, the people that committed 7/7 were Muslims, so Muslims must commit more crime than Christians".

And what evidence do you want from me? I'm saying there is no evidence that one religion commits more crime than another. If you want examples of crimes committed by Christians, then sure, there's absolutely tons - but does that prove that Christians commit more crimes than Muslims? No. Does the fact there's no evidence to prove that mean the opposite is true? No.

Yes it is a crime to do it there:

under Sharia law there is a process called Qisas which in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Iran, and other Sharia-ruled countries means that acid attackers will have the same thing done to them as punishment and if not then in Pakistan they face life imprisonment. In India is 10 year to life, in Bangladesh you are sentenced to death for it with conspirators who don't even handle the acid or the victim facing the same punishment. Hardly getting away with it.
