i vote for flyingjesus' first suggestion. it's hideous but it's no worse than some of the others and i'm tired of pastel colours.

I'd like to have team colours with little animals next to their name although if you are staff and you want to buy a different teamed VIP but you are only allowed to be in a certain team, you can but it would confuse the crap out of me.

don't particularly like the first one sorry jurvy but the second one's actually not too bad. i prefer the softer colours to the harsh ones posted earlier

Have a single VIP subscription that automatically sets itself to your team's colour (There are ways of doing this via simple template changes).

Talking of teams are we finally gonna have some sort of system to stop 30 active people joining one team and flooding out all the events

The best option in my opinion is to randomly sort everyone into the four different teams.

Edit:

You should also set up everyone's points to be a new forum currency and have a couple of custom pages to display the team points. Then after HxSS you can set up a transfer rate to tokens (or have a different set of exclusive prizes).
