    This, even if it was 2 minutes before hand like Habbo used to do, it would be nice if you could do that when the sites are going down.

    I know about it just ask much as you do. It would be nice but as you said, it's not always possible.

    Unfortunately due to our work commitments we some times have to do the maintenance during the day/evening. Due to the recent problems we have been having we are trying to iron out these issues by doing the maintenance work during these times rather than delay it further.

    We'll take note for any other maintenance that isn't classed as essential.

    I don't think that Sam was saying don't do it in peak times but rather post just a bit before saying that it will be going down at X o'clock or in 10m etc otherwise people can lose threads and things if they're working on them!

    I don't think anyone really minds if the sites are being taken down at peak times so long as the work is being carried out, its just nice to have that advance warning to save any work/posts etc (where the chance can be given).

    It's nice to see this thread busy!

    Understandable but doing a notice wouldn't always 100% work as if you were writing a thread you would still need to refresh the forum to see a new notice about any sort of maintenance work. But noted for next time.

    There is always twitter updates and Habbox Down page, although I think the Habbox Down page should have the radio player on? @xxMATTGxx; @lawrawrrr;

    We know that, all Sam meant was that it would be nice to get some kind of a warning if it is possible. For instance the other day I spent ages editing a page on the wiki and ended up losing it. That's all she meant, if there was a warning, 5-10 minutes before hand it could prevent the lose of some info like that but we all understand it's not always possible to get the message to people or people may not even see it.
