Whats the big difference between that one and this one? I mean, is the story line the same? Mike (the child at the start) goes around killing everyone, finds his sister tries to be nice to her gets stabbed so he wants to kill the sister and then he dies :S? Originally Posted by Misawa

Myers doesn't die at the end of Rob Zombie's remake. There was a sequel that came out last summer that completely bombed at the box office. There are seven sequels to the original film.
The story is the same, except 40 minutes isn't given to the exposition of Myers' childhood and imprisonment. The babysitting angle is there in the original and it's thankfully void of the dumb hillbilly stuff. Where Zombie's remake is arguably a 2 star film, Carpenter's original is five, and is solely responsible for the slasher sub-genre of horror. It is a masterpiece and shouldn't be discussed in the same breath as Zombie's remake.Last edited by Misawa; 15-03-2010 at 04:31 AM.
