Just heard this on the news myself. Bad news for Lotus. He could have done really well this season.

He still can do but obviously with just less races then everyone else
Bugger. Really hoped he could push for the WDC this year, nice guy.
This is so sad, it's likely that Bruno Senna will be promoted to a race seat.
One for the road.
I do think he will be the most likely out of him & Grosjean to start in Bahrain

Just seen the breaking news on Kubica... he's undergone 7 hours of surgery and may need a year to regain full use of his right hand...
So, no Kubica for 2011 then if thats true

I have left for now but may return in the future!
There is also a chance they might buy out Hulkenburg from his long-term contract at force india. I think that given Kubica was their no.1 driver, they wouldn't want to replace him with someone they know little knowledge of in terms of their capability in faster cars.
On a sadder note, Kubica is currently in an induced coma.
One for the road.
It's been announced he won't be back for several months. www.lotusrenaultgp.com

Ah such a sad situation. Was really hoping he'd be a contender this year as it's obvious what he can do. Hopefully he makes a solid return, and that this isn't the end.
hi
Agreed thought he would have been one of the title contenders or just behind the top teams.... I hope he does make a return at the end of 2011 or in the 2012 season as he's a great driver

He might do a Massa though, and it could affect his long-term ability to drive fast! Massa hasn't been the same since.
One for the road.
