No i think it is tbh, .com does not need to be down all the time. They may have transferred the databases and are not getting the UK site set up for merge activation etc etc because if it was just an update they would come back online at the same time.

This has to be the merge... I can't wait for the UK armies/mafias to show the up the US ones, haha.

I don't think they have mafias, but the armies and groups are crap compared to the uk 1s, and almost every room looks the same..lol

I've got a feeling that it will still be the merge, I highly doubt that .com would have to be down at the same time, because otherwise it'd cause disruption to their already existing members, if the hotel went down for 4 hours everyday.

They did state they updated servers which might be why it happened so quickly

Well we don't no how large the database is do we. Could be tiny, i mean it's only pixels, it's not the most graphic intensive game.

ye it don't have to be down, cos people from AU and SG and even CA can still merge into the new .com hotel at any time.
