It is quite sad how it's became like the new trend though. A prime example, a girl in my class..

In year 7-10: Blonde hair, skirts, listening to Usher etc, makeup
Now, in year 11: Dyed black hair with other constantly changing coloured streakes and styles, drainpipe trousers, converse, studded belts, listening to MCR etc, heaps of mascara. I bet she's cursing the fact she doesn't have dark-rimmed glasses..

This isn't ONE girl, this is most people in my year, younger years, in town..

Now.. THIS is the reason I cannot stand it. People are just abusing the fact that they are "depressed" or listen to emo music (even though it's only MCR, TBS etc, which isn't even proper emo), dress the same and then claim they are "individual" just because they can fit in with a new crowd.

Argh!? It be oh so silly.

Haha sorry, I just sorted of completely ranted on about nothing. But basically like NekkLe said (lol thanks), I was just saying how it's become a new "thing" to be, and the actual meaning of emo has been long lost. Not that I care about it, but ehh I dislike trends.

At my school it went from like..
    Chav > Skater > Individual/Alternative > Emo

    What next?
