Its all done in cardboard then painted, some of the paints shiny maybe thats why it looks odd

A cardboard box is built up by walls, walls made out of one big cutout of three paper plates put togheter, one on top, one wawed in the middle and one on the bottom.
Example:
and since it's your pic, if you want to do anything about the edges and make them cardboard, the rest is up to you.

lol not really :p if you look at the house you can only see 2 edges properly, and as its ~thin~ card on those visible edges..
Anyway i doubt very much that habbo would make cardboard in such detail O.o
