It's called a web chat, many celebrities participate in them. Habbo is just different due to it's environment. Sure, it's a way to promote Habbo and it's also a way to promote Shayne (his album is out two days before).

Companies are taking advantage of new technologies to promote themself. The record industry is no different.

I think .NL have somewhat prooved it's more than likely the celebrity typing/dictating at least. Check out their Celebrity screenshots, and pictures. If it's not the celebrity, it'd be their publicity team at least.
