Im sorry but i have to disagree about that. Shay Given has kept Newcastle in the game so many times if they didnt have him Newcastle would be in HUGE trouble. Ever since Shay Given was in the premiership with Newcastle which i think is 1998 present he has been there hero over and over again.

They haven't gotten the Premiership title since he joined. Newcastle was never really in the race were they?

Yes that is because theyve never spent HUGE ammounts of money on players like chelsea or man u for rooney
