I agree. Being gay is actually more of a welcomed concept in this day and age. Well, in canada it is, and I have many gay friends. Filtering the word gay wouldn't work very well.

There are two ways to use the word:
The Right Way

Correctly: Gay as in someone who prefers the company of a same gendered individual and Gay as in happy [ Gay as in happy is rarely used now ]

The Wrong Way
Incorrectly: In a politically incorrect manner "thats so gay" etc...

I've actually been called gay a number of times and I've gotten over it, even though I don't believe the word should be used as an insult

Gay people are people too, and " love is love " as cliche as that is

As long as people begin to understand how progressive the world in most places is becoming, the less reasoning there will be behind filtering a word that right now is more political than offensive.

I think the word so be carefully moderated, if it's used in the terms of abuse then action should be taken. If no offence was meant by the word, then what's wrong with it? ;/

I think habbo have gone over the top with filtering sometimes like Hack yeh its against the habbo way but whats wrong with saying it.
And in my opinion Gay shouldnt be filtered it would be a bit homophobic and to be honest some people are proud of being gay. Also if people are trying to insult each othet they avoid the filter and use a an insult stronger than "Gay"
