no april fools was yesterday and the newsie was sent out on 31st.... just got reply to my question and it said this:

The petal patch is a rare, and in unlikely to be released again. It may do but
it is unlikely.

They do this every year, there's some people who spread the rumours to bring down the price of them for a short period of time. Habbo have actually brought out the petals about 6 times since 2003, but they shoot back up to 4 or even 5 HC straight after they're taken back out of the catalogue, so don't worry, If they do release it, the value wont be affected as much as you think. But the liklihood is that they'll release something else, e.g. green ICM.

It is strongly hinted and I hope it does, because it fits in very well with the spring season. Who cares if you cannot sell them? They're main purpose is to decorate, not trade. I am sure you can find something else to trade if they do come out.

WRONG... sorry they have released the petal about 4 times already. Also, they have released others more than once to.
