I thought they beat the pilot in the cabin? (Wasn't it in the movie?)

The plane wasn't really unstable, it was only unstable once the passengers started to fight back and they rocked it from side to side to knock them off course, still, it would of been able to recover.

Yeah, but a normal passenger wouldn't have a clue what to do, really.

Had the passenger have put the thottles to full and climbed, all should have been good.. But unfortionatly, that didn't happen.

    they found debris didn't they?
I doubt you'd find any "big" parts of the jet as it flew inverted at 600mph into the ground.

not really, if it was flying inverted, the top of the plane is obviously weaker than the bottom, so it is basically going to obliterate

i'm not sure what they found, but they did find some debris, i'm not certain of the size, but I know they didn't find any "big" pieces like you see in regular crashes (e.g, big chunk of fuselage)

It proberbly broke up into pieces on impact, well i'd certainly expect it too..

But they should have found the engines, without its case obv. with at least 1/2 still together!

But then again, if something hits the ground at around 400-450mph, what do you expect to be left? - Not alot!

Something I need to read up on, and only this flight - As I've forgot the whole story.

You dont find that planes fly 600mph into the ground and not make a scratch on the front lawn of the pentagon... there is normally ALOT MORE FIRE, (as you saw on the side of the WTC as it crashed into it), and all the CCTV footage was taken imedatly... it was a missile that caused the hole in the back.

i'm not talking about flight 77, the pentagon one, i'm chatting about united 93.

I was watching something about it on CNN yesterday, apparently the guy wants $10 million for the land which he owns (and that the jet crashed on) so a memorial can be built on it =/
