It has to be a lie, Habbo would have at least emailed us to tell us a little detail, that guy might just be a nobody trying to get the spotlight. I can see the offices merging that makes sense.

I thought .com opening their own hotel back in 04 was stupid anyway. Same with .ca, habbo seemed more of a community in those days.

I'd be very happy to see all-English hotels merge, it would also accredit sulakes finances.

There would also be a rise in popularity; as instead of people being bored with 500 odd people in their local hotel, there would be 10k on a main hotel and that would appeal to newer users as it would interest them more.

I was hooked into habbo when only .com, .ch and .fi existed and back then (regardless of what time zone you were in) there was always something to do. Now every hotel I go on, it just seems to be the same thing on every hotel.

For example, Kristian.k10's talk show back in 02/03/04 I remember people queuing for ages just to see that show. When kris moved to .ca, the show lost popularity which led to him quitting habbo. Nowadays, nothing like this seems to exist.

Anyways, doubt it would happen UNLESS Sulake would be happy dealing with a large legal bill

They will close the hotels for a few days/weeks and most likely put up a registration page, with you entering your new information (your new account on the merged hotel) and your old account information, so the details can be moved onto the new one.

If there really is a merge it's not going to be within the actual hotels. It'll be just with staff and staff offices like the DK/SE/NO merge that they just did (The main office is in Denmark, and the staff speak norweigian, danish, and swedish to update news on respective sites. All three languages are very similar, many words just have alternative spelling.)

It saves them rent and employment expenses.

Why would the offices merge, the Denmark office only merged because they could - they boarded or just about boarded, the country they merged with. America and the UK are how many miles apart over a sea? :rolleyes:

If anything were to happen it would probably equal a merging of the hotel itself.

Edit; This would make it easier to see why Habbo UK is going to get all the future updates because there will be lot's of
people on the Hotel to find all the glitches.

If there would be a merge, it would be of .CA and .COM, the two local Hotels.
