VIP? Is there a need?

Actually, that's not entirely true. Let's get Sierk here or somebody who knows about it and ask them if Habbox has had money donations. They don't need to pay anyone, they just choose to.
Thinking that VIP is their only source of income is stupid. End of.

There's a thread in the managers only forum that you post in if you want to claim your payment, but that isn't used much by the looks of things so I dont even think much money goes out that way.

Thats wrong. They get payed to do something other users would do for free.
Other fansites don't pay their staff do they. Habbos.net have a dedicated team of staff, do they get payed? NO.

Some, if not most managers DO do it for free, I myself have never claimed any payment in the last 6 months or so that I've been a manager. Other fanistes choose not to pay their staff, habbox is just generous like that.

Without people buying vip habbox would have closed as seriously who actually clicks google ads , no one used to click them while they were at the bottom of the page so they moved them to the top and I doubt anyone still does click them. As for donations , Vip is the only form of 'donation' habbox gets.
As far as i'm aware there are atleast two or three different servers for habbox , one for the actual main site , one for habboxlive and one for the forum , Habboxworld may also need it's own. Do you actually think they're cheap considering the fact the forum alone uses tons of bandwhich alongside the image hosting and the main site gets thousands of hits everyday.
Aswell as servers sierk has to pay for VB liecences, before there used to be 4 different 4 forums (this one , an us one , a ca one and gameboxforum) but now there's only two.
There are also domains to pay for on a yearly basis ,

Well I've got Shane (--ss--) to back me up on that one. We all know Habbox would close if there wasn't a income, they need to pay for 9 Domains and 9 Different hosts each year, they then need to give little wage to some higher ranked staff from the kindness of their hearts and not only that but they need server upgrades and everything because of the space this Forum is taking up

Look at other Habbo forum/Websites. Do they get paid? No. They pay to give the community somewhere to visit to have pontential fun. I respect Habbox has to pay for 9 domains and 9 lots of hosting. But also it is wrong that any manager of this forum should have the nerve to ask for payment from the profits habbox makes from VIP etc. It's like TAX, my mother and father pay for a family who claim benefits when they could be out working. Whoever wants money from habbox for being a manager should be stripped in my opinion because there is people on here who would gladly manage a Habbox managment team for free and would work their butts off.

Sierk offered them pay, they aint working for pay, they're basically working for free and sierk is sending them money every month as a "gift" for working..

The only way paying for the stuff is VIP, yes. Sierk probably doesn't have that kind of money to run all these servers and such, he has a family and everything to look after. No one else has really put money into HabboxForum and the VIP funds they get they spend on hosting and stuff, so they're not taking the money and laughing to the bank, they're spening it on us basically, to keep this Forum open and running so that we can beneifit
