N95 doesn't have changeable covers apparantly

If you know how to do it they are hehe.

The easiest bit is taking the back rubery bit off, take the battery cover off, the battery out, now just slide your nail down the top of the side of the rubbery bit (in between the screen and the rubbery bit) and use a little pressure to prise it away, its only held on with double sided tape.

Look into Sony Ericsson Xperia X1. It does everything an N95 can do and more, plus it looks a lot better and you can include it in your Sony Ericsson upgrades! :8

My friends N95 kept freezing and in the end he gave it back and bought the Black vers as its alot better than the normal silver N95.

Id still recommend Samsung F490 or the LG KU990

The N95 Black has a bigger battery life (can be bought for N95 anyway for about £5), the screen is .2" bigger (meh?) and it has 8GB internal memory but no SD card slot.

But on the N95 original you can now use 16GB SD Cards, making the 8GB obsolete really. And if people actually upgraded the phone's firmware every so often they would get the latest OS and they wouldn't crash, like mine doesnt .

I have an N95 but I'm slightly unsatisfied. The camera is great but takes WAY too long to get focused so capturing anything moving is impossible. Its also WAY too thick... sticks out of your pocket too much.

The S60 operating system is also a bit laggy on it.

GPS takes too long to locate a satellite.

I hear the N95 black version fixes these problems though.

The top of my N95 is a bit dented and chipped from it use haha, might buy a full new face for it, BLACK! but then again I do like the original Plum colour.



These two points are personal opinion, I actually really like the slide capability of the N95, the N82 doesn't have that also it doesn't have the four media buttons under the screen (when you slide DOWN), but again I say those are just personal opinion.

The new N95s are shipping whith bigger batteries now, or at least you can buy them for about £5 or something so that makes your point invalid. I *think* the screen is smaller.

But yes there are some other changes, but my dad has got some N82s on order from T-mobile, he works there, to give this new thing a test, I may try one out, I only got my N95 because I agreed to test this thing for him LOL

N95 is good i got the updated version different colour at the back instead of grey purplish and it has extra stuff than the N95 with the grey back.

If you updated the firmware it would be A LOT quicker :|

My GPS locks on within 10 seconds usually now, the camera comes up straight away, the gallery is a lot quicker and smoother and the phone is generally a lot faster with firmware v21 (released towards the end of march.)
