The most preferred languages for MMOCCs as such are:

    Actionscript (Flash)
    Lingo (Shockwave / Director)
    Javascript&Java with PHP server

C++/C#/Java(independent) are more suitable for other games.
    (MMORPGs etc)

Any ideas on where to buy good books, with information on how to create Isometric Tile Games?
