Thats a very single minded view, yes maybe you will say things like that, but some people say, "I really liked the way the director portrayed so and so character" Etc.They will, because what else will you talk about in a film thread?
"It was good"
"I suspected that"
Bland comments. People will talk about how X killed Y and how X fell madly in love with Z but didn't realise Y was a mutant. Forcing people to spoil their own threads (and I mean spoiler tag and spoil as in ruin their threads) because someone hasn't got common sense to realise that if people are talking about Prince Caspian they are going to see plot lines that will spoil it for them. I don't even think that happens :S
And people are interested in that aswell.

Well, it's common sense to not go into a thread called
'Doctor Who Final Episode Discussion'
If you don't want it spoilt...
But surely if they haven't seen the film/program which is going to "spoil" it for them, why would they be looking in a thread about that film?
That's single minded too. People will talk about a mix of things, plot lines as in who did what to who and where and how directors did this and that with the camera angles. It's nearly as if you're suggesting Habbox Forum should only let one type of film person register, who won't talk about the plot, but the editing and filming of a film :/

Because it would have spoilers tags in it due to the rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No it isn't single minded because my point was that there is a diversity in what people will say :rolleyes:That's single minded too. It seems to be mods v members on this one. Maybe a poll or something should be set up? Just because it is in the rules doesn't mean you have to agree. I personally think the argument against is much stronger than the argument for.
People can use posts like that as reviews which could ultimately decide whether they see the film or not. It works on the same principle as game reviews; if you go on gamefaqs they'll say "xyz was good, abc was bad" etc but won't give away any major plot points. They will, because what else will you talk about in a film thread?

I agree that it's a stupid rule, dont start saying it's Mods v Members, ultimately we are just memebers remember?
At the end of the day, a rule needs to be put in place - soon, which clarifies what needs to be spoilered and what doesn't.
PM me for help.
So why do you think members need to be spoon fed information? It's clear that if members don't want to find out about a film, program or book, they simply won't view the thread. If they make claims that they should of been spoilered, we should happily call them idiots :/
There shouldn't be a rule, but a reminder put in forum descriptions saying "If you do not want to know about the plot of a film/program/book/show (depending on forum), don't view any threads relating to that subject." It's obvious.

Exactly
I never said they should be spoon fed? I said it should be alright for them to look at a thread to find out how good a film was without having the film spoiled, hence the reason for having spoilers! So why do you think members need to be spoon fed information?
