I read reviews of the controls being hard. What are they like in terms of gameplay, customization, commentary etc?

Customization I mean CAWs. I'm watching a match on LOW Showdown on Youtube. Looks slow tbh but that could be the player wrestling on it.

There was a fan-made total conversion called WWE No Mercy/WWF No Mercy 2 where it gave you a complete high-rez update to 2006 or 2007 WWE.
