I think it was rather obvious Arsenal weren't going to win this year. Arsenal will get fourth. If Arsenal buy in January, the players will get a kick up the **** and start performing to keep their place. If they finish fifth, the know that they've lost millions and lots of players will Arsenal. The players will not want that to happen.
