First time flying.

The reason that I'm scared of flying is because if something does happen, then there's nothing you can do. You're thousands of feet in the air, and there'd be no rescue.

Although I do know that it's rare that something would go wrong, and even if something did go wrong, the pilot might still be able to land the plane, it's still a scary thought (for me).

But if your in the back seat of a car and something goes wrong, you can't really do anything?

Pilots do it day in day out and they're trained for emergencies every 6 months, if they fail to land successfully in a simulator during an emergency then they will not be allowed to operate the real thing.

Your honestly really safe when your onboard an aircraft, you will probarbly go your entire life without ever having anything unusual happen to you.

Try overflying a tornado with severe turbulence being reported at all levels, that's fun too

4 hours of pure turbulence and airpockets, now that was a great flight. Shame it smoothed out when crossing the Atlantic
