I very much doubt it's illusion because of what he did last year - it's all to do with probability. He did the exact same thing on a programme where he was at a horseracing event last year, and won some woman a whole load of money. He researches the numbers, finds a formula for the probability and runs with it. Countless hours of mathematics.

It's obviously gonna be insanely confusing but ridiculously simple at the same time, a lot of talk saying it's camera tricks, obviously I don't know but I'm pretty certain Derren wouldn't use camera tricks to pull this off, it's just not what he does.

For people who were saying it's "split screen", I highly doubt it. Derren Brown has ALWAYS been against all sorts of camera tricks etc. - he has more class than that!

I think he did it the same way he did the horse racing - recorded the majority of possible outcomes of numbers (he stated that he had been working on this for a year twice during the show), that's why the bonus ball wasn't included, and it just happened to be that all 5 came up, so they played the footage of those five numbers.
