I did the 'find Gertrude's cat' quest and have finally managed to get the kitten to turn into a cat. What a hassle though. They are very demanding.

I finally got my ardougne cloak 1 which I am really pleased about. I enjoy the quest side of it now and the wizards are a bit safer now.

I want to get the next cloak but some need 50 firemaking and I think I have 1. Any tips on how to speed this up. I found agility so boring too.

there's not really a fast way to speed up fm, just once you get the levels to use better logs change to them. getting to 50 won't take long anyway if you buy the logs.

There is a way - but it requires high-ish cmb so you dont die - Barb Assault (Kyle on the forum is the expert at it)

Penance Horn, Ring of Fire + Flame gloves, allowed me to get 99 fm within a week using maples.

Thanks - well I can chop oak I think. I hope I can light a damn fire. Last time I tried on about day 1 I couldn't. LOL
