Well as i've said from the beginning, I agree that it doesn't promote much discussion but neither do the other threads, so if one is removed they all should.

It has the ability to create discussion, but people aren't bothered with discussing, exact same as what your eating/listening to/wearing.

Post count is just a number, it does not matter and will not have an effect on your life.

Literally the worst argument ever made concerning this. If it's "just a number" then surely no-one should complain if these (pointless) threads didn't have a post count, as obviously they're just such good threads that people would totes post in them just as much without the post count, right? Just like how Forum Games are obv as busy now </sarcasm> as they were back in the days when they were being abused in the same way

For me, if people want to spend their lives posting images or what they're listening to to bump their post count, then let them. What's the big deal?

Because that is breaking the forum rules. Posting excessively but remaining within the rules and pointlessly posting are two different things

Well, by posting in the 'what are you...' or similar threads.
It is not against the rules to post time after time in them, providing you remain on topic each time and don't double post etc.

Obviously if the threads are being seriously abused then it would be looked in to, but I just don't see what the fuss is all about

The big deal is that they're pointless threads and therefore all the posts within them are pointless

lol Scott are you posting in ALL of the pointless threads to make a point or are you trying to make up for the posts you're losing from the images thread getting nuked
