Don't get me wrong, I love dogs, but there are many more better causes. That's just my view. I look forward to all the angry letters from the animal activists in my mail box.

I agree. Why would you want to give it on an animal???? The day there becomes a charity for cows pigs sheep and goats and chicken an fish then I might consider it. My view is all animals are the same as in if you eat chicken you might aswell eat dog. And dog tastes nice in a Korean curry

The world should focus less on animals and more on other people. Have sensible charities up that support homeless/ poor countries / cyber bullying/ ones that can reflect back to us that mean something

I love how you're telling everyone what they should be focusing on and what is sensible and what's not. Will you ever learn to put your opinion across in a better manner? Sigh lol

Lmao Ino I don't mean it like that. Honestly I don't know how to word things properly so I just put what first thing in my head is. People don't have to I just would rather it happen like that like an opinion I think that's what it's called

If you want to donate on an animal, spend your money on your own pet, I don't see how money can go to animals, they can't tell vets what they want or need and in the long run animals die in a few decades so our money to save a 12 year old dog won't last decades and decades. Helping children is giving them a better future, they can say what they want and need; we are making their life more worthwhile and longer in some cases.

Not all animal charities take care of homeless and old cats and dogs...Some work for conservation and are pretty successful in the work too, my mother herself worked for Wildlife Conservation Network so I would know.

Sure it is your opinion on which organization to choose but disregarding any others is not right

Aid for Africa (I recommend this the most)

Aid for Africa is a unique alliance of U.S.-based charities and their African partners dedicated to helping children, families, and communities throughout Sub-Saharan Africa. Our grassroots programs focus on health, education, economic development, arts & culture, conservation, and wildlife protection in Africa.

    Women's Aid

Women's Aid is the key national charity working to end domestic violence against women and children. We support a network of over 500 domestic and sexual violence services across the UK.
    Smile Train

Smile Train is a 501(c)(3) organization based in New York City with the mission of providing free corrective surgery for children with cleft lip and palate in about 80 developing countries. Founded in 1999, Smile Train focuses on providing free cleft-related training for doctors and medical professionals. The organization reports that it has assisted over 750,000 children through 2012.

The cats protection league - its breaks my heart that some people mistreat cats or simply don't want them any more. Near where I live one of the neighbours put a cat in a cupboard and locked the door. I find this behaviour outrageous. However once I phoned them they couldn't collect the cat because they had no more room. I am sure that lots of cats are homeless that can't get any care or be rehomed which really saddens me which is why I would like to support this charity.

How can you say that? just because animals can't talk doesn't mean that they don't need love and care. If we give money to animal charities they make the animals lives happy and worth living and they can also makes the animals lives longer.
